Dance Station

This review focuses on the offerings and environment of DanceStation, an educational institution dedicated to teaching dance to youth aged 3 to 18. The primary aim is to foster a fun and enjoyable atmosphere that emphasizes non-competitive and nurturing principles. DanceStation has garnered a reputation for its dancers’ technical excellence and performance skills.

One notable aspect of DanceStation is its strong sense of community, where lasting friendships flourish within what they affectionately refer to as a 'dance family.'

DanceStation is affiliated with the Cecchetti Council of America, following the Cecchetti method—an established series of graded classes aimed at preparing young dancers for professional opportunities. While not all students participate in Cecchetti Exams, the curriculum endorsed by the CCA serves as a foundational guide across all ballet training.

Additionally, the program includes Jazz and Tap classes up to the Intermediate level. After this point, students have the option to specialize further by selecting from separate classes in tap, jazz, modern, and Broadway dance styles.
